Our Mission

Gharset Kheir aggregates endangered national heirloom seeds, increases their quantities through land allocation, and distributes them as ready-to-plant agricultural kits exclusively for households. These kits, consisting of seedlings, seeds, and organic fertilizers, aim to provide Lebanese families with natural organic agricultural production at minimal costs, fostering agricultural self-sufficiency.

The project targets farmers and agricultural institutions, distributing seeds to farmers to increase profit and reduce costs, while providing agricultural institutions with tested and trusted native heirloom seeds. Gharset Kheir collaborates with NGOs and municipalities to promote the preservation, promotion, and accessibility of indigenous seeds.

Our Process

At Gharset Kheir, we are committed to increasing the quantity of Lebanese native seeds. Our commitment to quality begins with our private land in Deir al-Haref, spanning 48,000 square meters. This location was carefully chosen to preserve seed quality, as it is the closest to a source of original Lebanese seeds, more than 6 hectares away from other agricultural lands.

We meticulously select heirloom seeds from our diverse seed bank, ensuring genetic diversity and resilience. Our sustainable cultivation practices in agricultural tunnels prioritize organic fertilizers, natural pest control, and efficient irrigation. Rigorous testing in our nurseries guarantees high-quality seeds with optimal growth potential. Packaged with detailed planting instructions, our seeds empower farmers for success. Available for worldwide delivery through our website and partner institutions, we provide convenient access to premium seeds for sustainable farming.
