Broad Bean (Badriya)

Badriya beans from Mount Lebanon are fast-cooking and can be eaten in summer and winter. They are excellent for refrigeration and storage for the winter season.

• Color: Dark green with a hint of olive, characterized by a thin thread on the side of the pods that bear the beans.
• Pod Length: 7-9 cm
• Harvest Time: 40-45 days
• Germination: 10-12 days with a germination rate of 85%
• Plant Spacing: 12-15 cm
• Planting Season: Spring and summer
• Climbing Method: It hangs on strings or bamboo sticks until it hangs and grows.
• Average Yield: 4-7 kilograms
